There were 40 questions in the morning, and they gave you 4 hours to complete them. If I were to characterize them, I'd have to use the term "breadth". The questions covered a lot of areas in the mechanical spectrum.
After an hour lunch, there were another 40 questions and 4 hours. I guess the term here would be "depth". The questions were very specific to my experience base.
Luckily, I had the correct answer to every question in my exam booklet. It was simply an exercise in identifying that answer and transferring it to the answer sheet. Really, at it's essence, it's not that difficult of a task.
Let's see. I started my undergrad in 1998. So, in theory, I guess I had been preparing for this exam for a little over 9 years.
I received my results from the Alabama board on December 18th with a perfect score of "passed".
