Hi there,

I'm new to this board but have been reading some posts and it seems that there may be some people out there that can help. I'm about to start studying for a self taught Masters degreein Power Distribution Engineering at Newcastle Upon Tyne University.

Before the course starts I've been trying to brush up on things, to do this i've been using Schaums Electrical Power Systems. I'm particularly stuck at the fault calculations and i just cannot see how the answers tie up. I think I understand the work but I'm now getting frustrated and pulling my hair out.

Has anyone worked through this or have some worked solutions to this chapter?

Any help or another recommended textbook would be of great help.
