Geotechnical field and lab technician

Hello,

I've been hired to instruct minimum to advanced knowlege technicians in the construction quality field: soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, .... I'm faced with a problem where the senior technicians continously need more information (Where do you draw the line?). If there is any books, articles, websites or classes that you think might help - please let me know.

In terms of asphalt, have you checked out any of the Asphalt Institute's training courses? They usually have some pretty good courses.
