Just got my results in an email notification. I took ELECTRICAL PM. I PASSED. Pretty excited. How did everyone else do? The main reason I started this thread is because I just want to state it again for future test takers... DO NOT order the NCEES practice exams and assume the test will be the same level of difficulty. I consider myself lucky to of passed because the test was a lot harder than both the online practice test and also the printed one from NCEES. It is still good material to own, and I still recommend it for studying purposes. However, take the difficulty with a grain of salt.

I took the EE module this april and passed. Everyone at my school who took the EE module passed as well that I know of. Some who took the general did not though. I agree the NCEES EE study guide was easier then some of the exam questions. I reccomend just reviewing notes. And maybe getting pratice test related to the afternoon module you will take. The morning is very basic but there are a few that might throw you through a loop. I would also reccomend at least 8 to 12 weeks of studying. My schedule only limited me to 3 to 4 weeks and I walked away feeling ok about it. You want to leave the test knowing you nailed it or you will torment yourself for weeks like I did.

I took Environmental module in the PM and passed. I flipped through the NCEES reference booklet and specifically did some questions regarding engineering economics. But if I could, I would like to study the general session for 4 weeks. The morning session was just plain nerve racking, in my opinion. I found the pm session to be much easier. It could be simply because it's what i'm majored in... But I definitely had a lot more time to check stuff and look things up in the booklet. I didn't know that there is a 10 year time limit, however. I really hope I don't need to take it again...
