This has the be the most exciting place to take the exam (if you get there early). I got there early and as tradition has it the Fairplex at Pomona had 2 parking attendants taking money ($12). Parked and started to get my stuff together and thinking that maybe I could have slept another 20-30 mins. I look up and traffic is jammed down the street as far as I can see.
Inside they have set up over 1000 tables and 2000 chairs for the exam, but there are not alot of people outside. (There was another building but I dont know how many were in there). I go in and the place is pretty empty I am thinking they are wasting alot of money on proctors (1 for 2 rows of 5 tables, 20 testees). But slowly it fills. I hope everyone got in. We did start late but as long as they let the people caught trying to get into the parking lot in thats ok.
The tables and chairs are antiques but seem ok for the test. Two per table and the table was 8' so there was plenty of room.
I do want to say that the proctors are very helpful and dilligant, they really looked over the paperwork to make sure we got everything right. One wrong number and probably no credit for the test. Thanks to all working so hard at Pomona.
At lunch we had the choice of fried hot dog on a stick or a really good bbq making hamburgers, I got a really good philly cheese, lots on onion and the meat was great.
