[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]We currently have a requirement for an experienced ILS Engineer to perform MFR (Multi-Function Radar) in-service supportability activities within our Maritime Services business. Working with the Project ILS Manager, [/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]this position provides an exciting opportunity to work as part of a pro-active and hardworking team to design, develop, manufacture and provide through life support for radars.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]This role [/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]will be instrumental in meeting the supportability requirements of the MFR in-service support team and can provide excellent development opportunities. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Your main responsibilities as an ILS Engineer will involve: [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To implement appropriate ILS policies and procedures [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Stand in for the ILS Manager when needed[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Liaison with the wider P&TS ILS/Supportability community to ensure consistency of process and the adoption of best practise[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To pragmatically implement the MFR ILS programmes[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To encourage/facilitate the integration and close working with other members of the support team, including the Technical Authors, Equipment Lead Engineers, the Training team and Field Service Engineers to ensure that the support solution meets the project objectives[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To ensure that the ILS deliverables consider the necessary safety and security procedures to ensure that equipment can be operated and maintained in a safe and secure manner[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To work with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to co-ordinate the on-going spares/repairs requirements through life[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]To support bidding activities for MFR and derivatives [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]In Service Cost and solution development - working with the team to develop and optimise the in-service support solution[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Your skills and qualifications as an ILS Engineer will include[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Relevant experience in an ILS role [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Sound understanding and experience of Supportability (ILS) principles including; AR&M analysis, FMECA and RCM, LORA, MTA, LSAR knowledge and spares modelling as well as simulation activities[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]DRACAS management including data collection, trend analysis and support to Failure Data Review Boards[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Experience of liaising with engineering teams and suppliers on technical issues[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Good IT literacy and skills relevant to Supportability Engineering and Technical team membership[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Understanding of project lifecycles and procurement processes[/SIZE]
