Any opinions on which parts of the FE Reference Handbook are most important for the environmental part of the FE CIVIL exam. I ask because the CIVIL section refers one to the ENVIRONMENTAL part of the handbook, which is quite extensive. That may be appropriate for the ENVIRONMENTAL afternoon, but waay too broad for the CIVIL. The official syllabus for the FE-CIVIL lists the following topics:

A. Water quality (ground and surface)

B. Air quality

C. Solid/hazardous waste

D. Sanitary sewer system loads

E. Basic tests (e.g., water, wastewater, air)

F. Environmental regulations

G. Water treatment and wastewater treatment (e.g., primary, secondary, tertiary)

from what i remember from Civil PM last year - A., D., E., & G. - Topics A&E could also fall under the Chemistry portion. Also doesn't mean the other topics wouldn't show up on subsequent tests. . .
