Position Title = Environmental/Civil Engineer
Education = BS Civil Or BS Environmental Engineering or Masters degree,
Years Experience Required = 10+
Position Description =
Our client is presently involved in the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and remediation of hazardous waste sites
throughout the northeast and around the world. Our Client is seeking an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Planning and performing technical work requiring judgment and independent evaluation
* Developing project specifications and producing/reviewing design plans and details for moderate to complex designs
* Developing and analyzing design calculations and cost estimates
* Developing and analyzing computer modeling of surface and groundwater systems
* Directing, coordinating, and delegating assignments to staff engineers, drafters, technicians, scientists, and other
project-specific personnel
* Writing technical documents and reports
* Initiating and maintaining relationships with clients
Requirements:
* Professional Engineer certification required; NY preferred
* Experience in wastewater treatment and permit requirements
* Experience with construction, design and management of wastewater treatment plants (including change orders)
preferred
* Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and perform technical work
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support project needs
* Experience with sediment a plus
PE in NY preferred
