I say this before every exam so I guess i'll say it again here. Make sure you can do engineering economics problems (at least the ones in MERM). When I took the exam in April 2008 there were probably at least 5 economics problems. Thank God I had gone through them in MERM a few days before and was able to do them. And they weren't the easy ones like in the NCEES sample exam (2001) where you needed no knowledge of actual economics.
Take a couple hours and work through the problems in MERM. It may just save you.
