Position Title = Electrical Engineer
Education Required = BSEE
Years Experience Required = 5
Position Description = 5 yrs on the job experience developing custom circuit boards including embedded microcontrollers, programmable logic devices etc.
Requirements/software = Below or equivalent:
- ORCAD Capture 9.2 or higher (PSpice included preferred)
- ORCAD Layout 9.2 or higher
- CircuitCAM 4.0
- BoardMaster 4.0
- MPLAB IDE 6.53 or higher
- Use of MPLAB SIM required
- Use of MPLAB ICD/ICE preferred
- Use of C18 optional
- MAX+PLUS II/QUARTUS II 10.2 or higher
Proficiencies =
- Draw circuit prints for Layout
- Draw circuit prints for production assembly
- Specify board components for design goals
- Run PCB layout design software for multi-layer boards and analog circuit considerations
- Setup and meet requirements for PCB manufacturer specifications
- Circuit design using industry standard analog signals
- MPLAB IDE/C18 programming to project requirements (special consideration for fail-safe design requiring use of ISR and watchdog features preferred)
- MPLAB SIM virtual simulation troubleshooting
- SPLD and CPLD design and programming as needed for project design
- Soldering and board-level trouble-shooting required
- Setup prototype board for ProtoMAT routing
- Serial communication protocols
Duties = Design , assemble , maintain , PC /PCB -based measurement and automation systems for company and its customers nationwide . Includes client contact and moderate travel (mainly in US )
