Hi all,

I'm looking at taking the PE Exam this coming year (haven't decided on April vs. October yet, depends how much time I have free to study). I was curious what review materials people have found helpful for the redesigned Computer test. Many of the sources I've found seem geared towards the test before its redesign (or its not clear they've been updated for the 2009 redesign.) Anyone have any helpful suggestions?

I tried looking for relevant discussions on the forum, but couldn't find anything that was relevant to the Computer exam.

Thanks!

I submitted my paperwork before Jan 2nd so I can take the PE EE (Electronics) exam in April. (In NC I have to wait until late Feb to see if I am seated for the April exam.)

I have been studying with material from PPI2Pass that have practice problems designed for the Electronics portion. (I'm new at this so I am guessing that this is the best material available to prepare with. I would love feedback if more practice problems are available like Dr. Kaiser's see other post.)

Hope this helps.

well, I'm curious, I see your discipline is Civil, why take the EE test? Change of interest, or that's what your experience provides for or ??

I have several Schaums plus 0072951761 Introduction to Logic Design. If you have can spare the paper, you might also consider printing some of the relevant topics in Wikipedia - there's at least 50, and likely someone has already put together a "book" collection already tailored. I have also traded for many decent texts thru a book swap site (paperbackswap.com).

Not sure why the discipline was set to Civil, I promise I'm an electrical guy. :) I like the wikipedia suggestion and may pursue that further. I also (thankfully) kept most of my college textbooks on logic design and computer networking. Anyone have any suggestions for texts to cover the software portion of the exam?
