I can't get any posts to show on EngineerBoards while using Firefox on my Mac. The top banner and ads show up, but nothing below the date shows up on any page. I have been having problems for several months where none of the icons or emoticons were showing up, and most of the avatars and attached pictures weren't showing up either. And now the whole thing appears to be broken. If I switch over to Safari, everything shows up fine. This is really weird because there is another forum that I frequent that is also built on IPB that doesn't have any of these issues in Firefox.

Anybody having the same problems? Know how to fix them?

It's working again...but the icons/emoticons still aren't showing up. For instance, instead of the little orange square, I have underlined text that says "GoTo First Unread". It's really bizarre.

No it is something trying to load every time I go up or back. ab700freeshot.com, or something like that. Its annoying. I have to hit the stop button every time I go to a different page.

IE, PC, if that helps the admins.

someone has an avatar or image linked to a site that is causing this, if you get a pop up try and "show properties" and get the link or http:// so we can trace it down, I havent seen it yet but I wasnt on all weekend..

Same goes for the Chrome browser with the malware warning.

try turning off avatars and see if that works, just trying to narrow it down. I think its like last time.

Those would be sites that hit me up for a "so and so wants to set a cookie, Allow?" we I opened the main page this morning.... Odd behavior for sure.... I haven't been hit with a "cookie set" question for months and months here.....

this is WinXP, with Firefox 3.0.8... no malmare warnings here.... avatars are off (as are auto-load images, 99% sure)

I use noscript, which is a pain but keeps the cookies and clutter down. Sometimes it'll kill avatars or images.

This last go-around when I loaded EB.com, it actually redirected me to one of the malware websites. RG needs to take a look at this ASAP :(

a few more sites to add to the oddity list....

okay I think its fixed, someone hacked in and put a code in our "skins" to cause the pop-ups, please accept my apologies, and let me know if your still getting it...

It seems to be fixed for me now.

You're a pro as always RG.

I'm starting to get notices from my antivirus software that it is blocking attacks. This started up last night and only happens when I access this site and use firefox on my home PC (my work PC has IE and haven't had any issues) . . .
