I totally agree that PE exam result is not a way to tell who is a better engineer.

However, I think it is a good idea to know which subject actually contributed more for passing the exam. I did my bachelor’s in Agricultural engineering, my masters and PhD in Civil engineering/ Water& Eniv. I never took any of advanced classes in construction, structure, or geotechnical; I took the basic classes though (strength of material, soil science, statics, engineering economy...). I know that I am confident in the water resources; my work for the last 4 years has been in hydrology and hydraulics. So I would like to see if my studying of the other topics just improved my knowledge in them.

 
Agree with the majority of members posting here to leave PE passing notification as-is. Just celebrate!

Besides, it's not like anyone will take this test again if they pass, right?
