answer claims core losses.

Referencing texts and other material the OC test is performed to find your core losses Ri and Xi while the SC test finds your winding losses Rw and Xw.

Shouldnt the answer actually be Excitation Losses for this one or am I wrong in my thinking???

I also thought on this one also and according to books open circuit test gives you the core losses. While the short circuit test gives you the winding losses.
