I passed the FE in October 2007. I am just wondering can I still take the PE Civil exam in Michigan? How long is the FE valid for?

Thanks

I have never heard of an EIT certificate expiring. I took my PE exam 10 years after I got my EIT. 2001 -> 2011

Agreed. I don't believe that the EIT/FE expires. I took the PE 15 years after the EIT.

The PE expires per state.

If you are smart about, you can retire or deactivate your license before it lapses. Makes it easier to reinstate it, you just pay the fee and it goes back into effect. If you just let it go you have to reapply.
