California PE Civil License Application Timeline

Hello!

I submitted my application for licensure May 25th. I received an email that my application was being referred for technical review on July 19th. Still have not heard anything. I am vigorously studying for the Seismic and Surveying exams now with plans to take it in October; however, my application needs to be approved by September 30th to be able to take my state specific exams in the 4th quarter (October- December). Can anyone who has been recently approved tell me how long it was taking for the California board to do the technical review? It would be a bummer to have to wait another whole testing period....

Hello, have you heard anything yet ? My application was being referred for technical review in early august and I am still waiting. Hoping to get approved for the 4th quarter too!

Has anybody heard anything back from the board? I am also in the same boat and am hoping to test in Q4.

6/12/2021 - Application dropped off via USPS.
7/29/2021 - Email stating "In Technical Review"
