I am trying to get my hands on general design of a pump and treat system.. and I was wondering if anyone here knew how to calculate head loss thro bag filters. I know most of the manufacturers give the maximum head loss thro the filter but does anyone here know how to calculate the head loss thro a bag filter or for that matter of fact thro any filter ..... Would be great if you guys could help me out with suggestions. Thanks a bunch!!
