Got my results yesterday, passed two out of three Civil PE modules: general 8-hour and surveying. :) I did not do too hot on seismic. I believe I need to take a class on seismic to pass it. :construction: Probably going to take Hiner's class in Pleasanton.
Same result like you, passed 8-hour transpo & surveying 1st time, failed seismic, gotta take that again in Oct.

Feel so good I got at least 2/3 though, but I wish I can celebrate like all those non-CA PE takes that passed. :multiplespotting:

Just received the letter in Houston. PASSED, first time taker Mechanical Thermal Fluids. What a Cathartic feeling, i just don't know what is going to occupy my time now that it's over. I have spent the last 9 months of my life focusing on this. Don't know what im going to do will all my free time now that i am a PE. Best of Luck to all those that need to study a little more.

For those of you that passed the PE, what is the stated pass date? I passed the PLS (on my first try), and it said that i passed the April 2008 exam. I'm either that good, or the state doesn't have money to update/proof read their letters.

I just got my result, I passed PE Mechanical-HVAC I live in Los Angeles

I was a 6th timer!! Yes 6th timer!!! so for people who did not passed this time "Do not give up at any cost" . Be honest with yourself and put in the time that you need to get through it. Don't allow yourself to get down for too long, think positive and believe.

Today is one of the happiest days in my life.
Wow you deserve it then. I'm so happy for you. I'll be at least a 2nd timer if I pass in Oct.

Just received a call from my wife this morning, I PASSED the PE Construction!!!!!

Am currently in Macau for a project...

1st time taker and did not pass =( Gonna take another stab at it again this upcoming October. Wish me luck!

Congratulation to all recently passed the PE exam.

I will take my first time PE exam Oct, 2009 (I will study hard because I lived out of the states and I don't want to do it again) Also I heard that Oct PE exam is much harder than April PE.

It's True, the October Exams are much more difficult than April ones.

I received my letter on Saturday(7/25) and I passed the PE! It's my first try(Civil/Depth-water resource), but my name is not shown in the database yet(I just searched few minutes ago). Good luck to everyone!

First time taker. I passed my 8 hour and Seismic. Too bad I failed the Surveying. I scored 29/50. Does any one know what the cut off score was this time? I did not find anything on their web site.

Passed Seismic and Surveying. I am a Nevada P.E. so just had to take the California state specific exams. What a relief...

I passed on second attempt, for those who are interested to know.

I passed the Mechanical PE, got my results Saturday- Orange County, CA

Got my letter today in Antioch. First time taker here. I passed the 8hr and the seismic sections.... Got a score of 27 on the surveying section. Does anyone know what the cut score is or at least the avg cut score? Just wondering if I was off by much. Tx.

Congrats to all who passed and good luck to those who will be taking it in the future. Don't lose confidence, I am there with you!

I'm in San Francisco, and still waiting on the results (Electrical). Anyone else in the bay area who hasn't received a letter? Congrats to those who've passed the PE!
