CA-Exam Surveying Prep Course

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had experience with taking the Civil PE Surveying online course and what you thoughts were on that course?  http://www.civilpesurveyingreview.com/

Was it helpful? Were there better courses available? I've failed this test more times than I would like to admit. (ok fine, 5 times now) I know my issues boil down to performing my calculations too slow since I always seem to run out of time. Are there any other suggestion you have with passing this specific test?

I did not take a surveying review course, but I would highly recommend a course with a computer simulation.  The practice with your materials in front of a monitor is very helpful.  That test is mostly about beating the clock.

HP35s and surveying programs. the hours i spend typing it in helped me learn the materials and concepts at the same time. 

where it shine on the test is the time you save on the straight up calcs. one of the program was set up so you can plug in 2 or 3 variables for any curve and it will spew out all the data for that curve. same with vertical curves. traversing and stationing was all plug and chuck.

it gave me a lot more time to do the theory questions.
