I have a question for the reference. My previous supervisor has a PE in Mechanical, can he be my reference while I will apply PE exam in Civil?

Thanks!

Thank you very much! Actually I have two more questions if you can help me.

1. I have passed the FE and PE exam in another state, but I don't have a PE license right now (only 3 year experience). In the application package, should I require the board where I took the FE and PE exam to fill out the "Board verification form"  and return to me?

2. For the reference form, what if the reference doesn't work with me, how to fill out PART A in the reference form?

Thank you very much!!!

You are welcome.  :)

1.)  I would ask your evaluator about this one.  http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/about_us/contact.shtml  Sounds like you'll only need to take the CA-Seismic and CA-Survey.

2.)  Your reference does not need to currently work with you.  They only need to vouch for your engineering work for the time period of that engagement.

Good luck.
