Position Title = Business Development Manager Rooftop Helipads US market
Education Required = - Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Structural engineering
Years Experience Required = - Minimum of 2 years work experience within the Civil/Hospital Construction Industry or the
technical sales of Capital Goods.
Position Description =
One of the key players in the supply of turnkey Aluminum Helidecks is seeking a Business Development Manager for the
Rooftop Medical and Civil Construction industry:
1. Location of function within the company:
This person is responsible for the sales of rooftop helipads within the Medical and Civil Construction industry throughout the
United States. Though it is important the person has sufficient experience and background in the sales of engineered capital
goods to take initiative and work independently, he or she reports to the US Area Manager. He or she will work closely
together with the commercial engineering department. Besides this, considering the US Medical and Civil construction
industry is a new market he or she works closely together with the marketing manager.
2. Function description:
- The development of the rooftop Helipad market within the United States.
- Search for leads
- Meet potential clients and give presentations
- Analyzing enquiries, technical specifications and drawings
- Enquire additional outfitting equipment at local or international sub vendors
- Preparation of technical and commercial proposals
- Follow up quoted projects and give technical clarifications
- Negotiating final price and scope with clients on quoted projects and making the final sale
- Setting up kick of meetings with the client and handing over of the awarded projects to project management
- Solve commercial issues with clients during a project
3. Job Requirements
- A pioneer that is up for the challenge to create this market.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Structural engineering
- Minimum of 2 years work experience within the Civil/Hospital Construction Industry or the technical sales of Capital Goods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Prepared to travel throughout the United States
- A team player, able to operate in a small team
- Able to sell based on technical knowledge
4. Compensation / Benefits
- Base Salary + Commission
