I wanted to see if there is a formula for calculating the distance for a bubble in fluid to determine the maximum cavitation/collapse distance for a gas exiting an orifice. i.e. If I pump air underwater, what is the distance from an orifice that the bubble will collapse? The gas pressure can be variable and the orifice size can be variable.
