Parents have major clog in their plumbing somewhere. Might have to do that soon.

They did. Come to find out, the sewer line from house to street is going to need to be replaced and eventually the back one too. Grand total of 18k. They’re hoping that they can do one at a time.

We recently had our drain get clogged about 5 feet before the sewer line. We were pretty lucky and were able to get it fixed by a plumber in an hour, but not before the problem caused our basement to flood.

homeowners insurance may cover it. They did where I used to live.
