Just give us a bigger contingency and better estimate the first time and everyone benefits.

Nowadays its just long delays and nothing is being built in time and over budget.  Losing even more money

I work in government so its interesting that the consultants/CM provides all the estimates and its all crap anyway.

Y not provide inhouse estimates and own up to the estimates ourselves. 

No real PM experience leads to more issues than the cost benefits of outsourcing

We used to recruit consultants years ago and now consultants recruit all the good PMs and engineers that we have instead.

Its probably 3 or 4 schedule submittals by the time its all said and done.
