I have customer standards I should be reading... but I'm not.

No one else reads them

They expect me to be the responsible one to read them

then when I tell them they aren't following standards they give be some BS reason why its ok

If it is on the print it must be followed or I want to see a signed deviation from the customer. I hate engineers that don't care about the details.
