And Verizon's stock plummeted if I remember correctly. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to purchase AOL.

my parents have cable modem but they still use AOL for everything. I have tried getting them away from it to reduce the amount of junk and issues they have, but it is a never ending battle. At least i got my dad to open a gmail account
