I applied for an NCEES record earlier this year, on the website it shows me as approved. Back in March, I used it to become licensed in another state. I never received an letters from them or a certificate. Should I have received anything after the application was approved?

Yes. You should have received both a confirmation letter and email indicating your newly assigned record number. When you log into your record account, you should see your record number with "active" listed next to it. Approved is just the application portion. IIRC, that basically starts the process to have NCEES professionally review all your submitted documents (i.e. transcripts, work experience, referrals, etc.). Once that process has started, you can continually monitor the progress to see which documents have been accepted and which have yet to be reviewed/received. Often times it's those old employer referrals that you have to track down to see if they sent in the paperwork you asked them to. I would follow up directly with NCEES to see where you are in the process. They are pretty good at sending out status update emails IMO. I just recently transmitted my record to the state of IL to apply for license by comity. And I have been monitoring the status of this accordingly.

I am definitely finished with the process, as I had the record sent to another state and was successfully approved for license in that state.

I e-mailed NCEES to see if there was any paperwork that I was supposed to receive. Apparently they don't send certificates anymore.
