I have the following references for Sale for the 8-hour PE:
1) Six-Minute Solutions for Water Resources (ISBN 1-888577-90-8), Environmental (ISBN 1-888577-89-4), Transportation (ISBN 1-59126-011-6), and Geotechnical (ISBN 1-59126-010-8). Various dates. Some pencil marks/highlighting but good condition. $25/book or $90 for all 4. Plus shipping.
2) NCEES Civil Engineering Sample Questions & Solutions, includes CD, ISBN 1-932613-10-2. Dated 2000. Clean copy, no marks. $30 plus shipping.
3) Kaplan, Civil Engineering PE Sample Exam, Second Edition, 2008. Some highlighting, good condition. $30 plus shipping.
4) Merle Potter, The Principles and Practice of Civil Engineering, Fourth Edition, 2000, Hard-Cover, ISBN 188101847-4. Also Solutions Manual for Practice Problems, Fourth Edition, 2000, ISBN 1-88101849-0. Minor highlighting, good condition. $50 plus shipping.
[i found this to be a good basic engineering book to review some of the basics without having to go back to all of my text books, before moving onto the CERM. It's not quite as intimidating or voluminous as the CERM].
5) Donald G. Newnan, Civil Engineering License Problems and Solutions, 12th Edition, 1995, ISBN 0-910554-91-9. Clean copy. $35 plus shipping.
6) Prof. Bruce Larock, Civil Engineering Hydraulics and Engineering Hydrology, 2004, ISBN 0-7931-8516-5. Some highlighting. Review for Breath/Depth, covers specific topics of hydraulics and engineering hydrology. $25 plus shipping.
7) CERM, 10th Edition and associated practice problems. The most current version of CERM is the 11th edition - I kept a copy of this version in my office as it had most of the practice problems (except construction depth) - that way I did not have to carry books back/forth but used it to do problems during lunch or after work hours. $40 for both CERM/Practice Problems plus shipping.
