I've got you by six months (May 12, 1990). I've covered a lot of ground in the last 20 years.Today marks the 20th anniversary of the day I walked away with my Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Damn I'm old!!!
My record is 4 years...2 jobs ago. My shortest tenure was 3 months, but I was laid off from that job due to lack of business.Wow, I've been in this job just over five years and that's the longest I've ever worked someplace.
Another class of '02 grad?congrats dleg. 8.5 yrs here
Yeah, I was a bit worried about my career "record".My record is 4 years...2 jobs ago. My shortest tenure was 3 months, but I was laid off from that job due to lack of business.Wow, I've been in this job just over five years and that's the longest I've ever worked someplace.

First job, I stayed for 3 years 6 months - Moved to a different city to follow my bride.
Second job, 11 months - Didn't like the attitude or quality of product in that office.
Third job, 2 years 9 months - Shut the office down. Damn it. (not me, literally... The Man shut us down.)
Fourth job, 2 months - Sucked balls. Big time. Would have stayed 6 months, but didn't want to lose the opportunity at the place I turned down for this one.
Fifth job, 7 months and counting - Turned them down initially for job #4. Not great, but literally I think best I could hope for in geographical location.
Anyway, I wonder what prospective employers think when they see my resume. It concerns me.
Edit: Congratulations Dleg! Sorry to stray the topic away.
