I was looking at the SMF Table 4-2 in the 1st and 2nd edition. The values for Pu max are lower in the 2nd edition. Was there a change to seismic compactness? Is that the reason?

How critical is citing code equations, tables etc? If the equations are written down correctly, but code equation numbers are not given alongside, would it be a material omission? I can see a section number being important if explaining something but any opinions on equations?

I believe wind loads are part of the scope of the verticals exam. If so, and due to high wind loads shear walls or diaphragms are required, am I to bring SDPWS to the exam let alone study that? Or, are incidental lateral loads excluding the need to use SDPWS?
