I guessed on maybe 2 or 3 questions in the first half, just because of time restraints. The afternoon wasn't as smooth, the design questions can be tricky when you can't find a definite answer so you have to use your intuition instead. Who knows on those ones.

Seemed to go well. I spent 300+ hours studying, but was worried going in because the NCEES practice exam was so hard. The real exam was much easier. I felt like I was really diligent about checking my units, making sure I was answering the question, etc., so we'll see.

I kind of pooped out this afternoon. About 300 hours of studying but starting from really, really cold. Still want to do some light stuff tomorrow morning before I make the trip to Seattle.

Don't have a straight answer for you, but I would recommend that you go back through your answers to the practice test and determine exactly what you did wrong. If you are like me you will be amazed how many stupid blunders you made, and will be more fastidious as a result. For what it's...

I did the test again today and was much more comfortable, but my score still wasn't stellar (especially if you factor that I had some of the conceptual questions memorized). Oh well, we'll see what happens. Good luck!

Seems like good advice, thanks. When I did the practice test a couple weeks ago, I tried to go straight through the test and ended up in a panic. I think I am like you, I have to knock out a couple to get my nerves down and confidence up.

Amen! Heading up the day before to get settled in and try to relax a little. Still have a lot of material to review between now and then.

Is this true if you send them a gift after the exam? I planned on sending thank yous and gift cards to the engineers I used as references.

There are very few questions in this official practice exam that have taken me 6 minutes or less. I am hoping they have cherry picked some of the harder questions from past tests, or it could be that I am just in trouble. Anyone else having trouble with it?

Anyone know what the situation is like at the Seattle Center?
