    Georgia PE wall certificate

The wall certificate is 8.5 x 11. Wal-Mart does have frames to fit this size document. I had mine matted so that it fits in a 11 x 14 frame and think it looks pretty good.

    # Correct

I passed the Electrical PE (Power) this October on my first try. Based on feedback from others and how i felt leaving the test, I think that the cut score is between 52 and 56 questions answered correctly. Like everyone else, I would love to know what my score was and how close I was to not...

    Gut Feeling

I took the EE (Power) in Georgia. I thought that I nailed the morning session. It was somewhat easier than I thought. Had ~ 45 minutes to go back and check work. Would estimate that I got 35+ right in the A.m. The afternoon was tougher Probably 6 questions that I had no clue on (straight...

well, what did you think (GENERALLY)?

I used the EERM more than I thought as well. I also used several Schaums outlines and some textbooks from college. I had studied Power System Analysis by Stevenson but forgot it at home. I think it would have helped me on at least two problems but maybe that want be the difference. Like you...

well, what did you think (GENERALLY)?

I took the power as well. Thought the morning session was pretty fair and the afternoon was reasonable. However, there wer several problems on the afternoon session that I had no clue on. I felt pretty good about passing when I left but the more I think about individual problems, the more I...

    NEC Level of Difficulty

I was curious about the level of detail I can expect in regard to NEC problems/questions. I have the NEC handbook and have used it on a limited basis in past job assignments. I have run across NEC questions in the past, that are somewhat complex and require a very intimate knowledge of the...

    Symmetrical Components

Wanted to know what those who have taken previous tests thought about how much and how tough were any problems involving symmetrical components. I have seen in other threads that many of you feel that it is imperative to be well versed on symmetrical components. However, the NCEES test and most...

    Electromagnetics

Started looking through some E-mag topics last night and attempted to work a few problems. I have not seen this stuff in like 20 years. My question is how much E-mag would you guys say is on the actual test (I will be taking power option). To really get a grasp on this topic I am going to...

EERM by yarborough and practice problems by Camara

I have read through a number of the posts concerning the EERM by Camara. I think it is currently at the 7th edition. I have a fifth edition EERM by Yarbrough. Does anyone have any experience with this book. In particular is it worth my ordering the newest edition by Camara. In my opinion...

    Study Schedules

Thanks a lot Techie. My schedule is similar. The past week or so I have been concentrating on supposedly simple stuff like mesh, nodal analysis, thevin/norton, etc.. just to get used to cranking out caculations. It is amazing how much I have forgotten. Also, I find myself making "careless"...

    Study Schedules

I am planning on taking the electrical (power) PE test (Georgia) in October. I have begun studying but wonder some of the times if I am just spinning my wheels. I am unsure of how "deep" to go in each subject. Don't won't to waste a lot of time learning material that won't be tested, but...

    Electrical PE review course

I am in Georgia and would like to know if anyone has any experience with the Electrical PE course offered at Georgia Tech. It is the only review course that is somewhat close to me (southeast GA). Also it is only offered in preparation for the Spring exam. I plan on taking the exam in...
