    Traffic Engineering

Is this a serious question? I dont mean to sound flippant but traffic is typically included in the Transportation engineering exam. The CA board http://www.pels.ca.gov/applicants/appinstpe.shtml links to the general NCEES exam website here http://www.ncees.org/Exams/PE_exam.php Unless I am...

E&O insurance from a company typically covers everything done under the banner of that company ... not the individual engineer sealing it. In that regard, as long as you practice engineering for company business/contracts you should be covered. Many engineers get in trouble by moonlighting...

    ASTM C443 vs ASTM C361?

I typically spec ASTM C361, D-25 for RCP outfalls of stormwater facilities, per 378 code. I have been looking at a lot of project specs lately that reference ASTM C443 instead of C361. I really cant find a difference between the two; just getting frustrated that NRCS 378 specs dont match AIA...

When I took my exam in PA, I spoke to my rep who is on the Professional Licensure board, he explained the process that they take. In PA the board votes to approve the applications prior to the exam and after the results are issued by NCEES they vote to approve them all. Dont want to start an...

PA does not release results until the board votes to approve the scores. They do this at the next regularly scheduled meeting after NCEES releases the results to the board.
