Thank you for your response.  I did not realize that Texas recognized the NCEES Record.  

How many pages was your SER?  I know it says a maximum of 12 and there are no minimum requirements, but I am getting some conflicting information on how much detail should be in it.  I have heard of PE's that submitted 1 page and others that submitted 12.

What state do you live in?  Some states allow you to take the PE any time after you pass your FE.  Some states require  4 years of experience before you can take the PE.  I am pretty sure all states require a minimum 4 years of experience under a PE, passing scores on the PE and FE exams and a 4...

Do any of you find that one design software is better for a certain material?  For example software X is better for wood design and software Y is better for Steel.

But why not take that into consideration when designing.  If they know the road will not be finished for 10 years, then why not design for the projected capacity of the location in 15 years?
