what have you been using to study during those 3 times? were you self-studying? CEPSR and Reza is a good combo, but def put in the time to practice and really understand the fundamentals. if you're able to get your hands on other resources/cheat sheets/etc that would help too.

what did you use to study for surveying? did you feel like it was a time management issue? i also failed first time and trying to get better with speed and understanding the basic concepts better. its not as straightforward as seismic and the problems can be quite lengthy

Unfortunately that's correct. Since you're already in a new testing quarter, you can't sign up in the same quarter. Timing may not work for everyone but it's strategic to take your exam in the 1st or 2nd month of the testing quarter to give yourself a buffer in case you fail so you're allowed...

I have both books but did not pass on my first attempt for surveying, any advice? I took the CPESR course and just have the Reza handbook, I felt ok when i took it but def could've improved on timing but it gets so tricky when the problems are so lengthy.

i've heard that the transition has been pushed out and that they will give a 6 months notice when they do change the codes, so that gives you 2 quarters to prepare for that

unfortunately i didn't pass surveying using CPESR and Reza, i felt like i had a pretty hard exam with tough questions and lengthy problems.

i did not pass using CPESR unfortunately. I felt like i had a pretty hard exam and had ambiguous and very lengthy questions and the questions were not as straightforward compared to when i took seismic.

I would bring both since there's nothing wrong with bringing both. i found myself using CPESR manual more than Reza because it was organized a tad better and the glossary was really useful. You can always compare the two and just add content from Reza to CPESR so you're not having to look...
