I think I got confused if Grade IV is equivalent to GS-11 and if you use the GS table based on the geographic location even at step 10, is only $8xk...not sure how you get $132K at the high end of GS-11.. GS-13 maybe

for GS-11 step 10, even in the DMV area, it's around $82k..I don't know much since I am a consultant but I have friends that work for Fed. that's a nice pay...in comparison to GS-11 And Actually Portland was my target destination when I move out of DC area

I would say ..slow down. Enjoy your glory for now..for at least another week before you think of next step. You as engineer don't get to have this kind of glory on a daily basic. It might be next couple years before you have this sort feeling again or could be never...i say enjoy! LOL Most...

For those who are taking power, I recommended Georgia Tech course. Overall I like the course except a few thing they need to work on it.. The fault/protection need more beef up on the subject even though the professor is great. More on lighting stuffs as well.

oh Japan is definitely way cooler than the Engineers night lol They will mail the certificate to your address in the file

A lot of you lots never open the NEC book once in your life until recently :) Try to get familiar with the formatting and the index so you can find it pretty quick. Amazon sells tabs for like $15 you can use to tab a lot of the important topics...voltage derating, grounding, ampacity cable...
