For what it's worth, I don't think it would make much sense to go through the whole application process and sit for the seismic/surveying exams in 2018 first when you could in the mean time take the 8 hour in October still and get it out of the way. I am still waiting on my Civil PE comity app...

Thanks for the data point. I did the same, FedEx'd it out maybe 4 days before deadline so hopefully I hear something within the next week. I don't want to start studying again unless I have to!!

I applied for the next exam cycle last week and am confused about something. Once I am approved, I can take the two exams during the Oct 19 - Nov 9 window and then will get results in December or thereabouts. But my understanding is that I won't know if I'm approved until possibly 6 weeks before...

While the application does say list EVERY, it seems a mistake. The lady I spoke with was quite adamant that you should not list minor traffic offenses such as parking tickets, speeding, etc... 

I called the CA board, they said list everything OTHER than traffic violations.

I don't get it. Do I have to list my parking tickets??

When you say branch...my supervisor was an SE and I am Civil. Does that count as same discipline according to the CA board?

That part I guess I understand, to better phrase my question: If I have 24 months of licensed PE supervision, can I have 3/4 references be people that I don't work with? I work at a very small company that doesn't work with other engineers much due to the nature of our business.

My advice to you is to first figure out why you're doing so poorly on the questions. Buy the NCEES practice exam if you don't already have it, block out 9 hours on a Saturday, and really take the test. No peeking at answers, no cheating, turn off the phone, 1 hour for lunch, small desk, crate...

As soon as you pass the 4 hour ethics exam they release them usually.

Well since it's Nebraska it was just you and me in the exam room. Probably too tough to figure out.
