I have a similar problem. I save it up for long periods of time, but then I just lose control once in a while and blow it all, until I have nothing left. Sometimes I am able to save up for another "splurge" ( you might say) pretty quickly, but these days, it takes me a lot longer to save up...

With adequate precautions, I think it is still OK to attempt to perform work after 2-3 drinks. Safety is not really compromised. Beyond that, though, performance tends to fall off, regardless of safety precautions.

Sometimes the PE-ness that takes the longest is the best. In which case, CA still has the best PE-ness. NY's may be long and drawn out, but it's not as hard as CA's. Not for the civils, anyway.
