NYS - How long after application tog et acceptance letter
I submitted my forms last May intending to sit for the April '12 exam and received my acceptance letter from NYS in mid August stating I could sit for the Oct '11 exam. So 3 months give or take a week.- saa125

I received the same letter last year for the October exam though I intended to take this April's exam. I called the state and they said that the letter is really meant to tell you that you are now allowed to sit for the exam (earliest for you would be April 2012). If you push to October it...
