    April 2015 Pass Rates

In all honesty, I would expect it has something to do with Construction jobs being more mobile and less structured. When I studied, I would work my 730-430, come home and have the same routine on study nights. If I was working all day in the field, tired from being on my feet, I probably...

That doesn't mean Construction isn't the easiest...just means the people who take it might not be the smartest

Club for people who passed April 2015

To echo what someone else said, I absolutely do not regret over-studying. I found myself at work seeing how all the different parts of Civil Engineering fit within the projects I was working on. Even though I don't do geotech, I could start seeing the problems we should be looking for under...

Club for people who passed April 2015

First try, Water Resources Civil - Passed I basically started at the beginning of February. Started trying to work the CERM companion questions, found them to be way too hard and not worth the trouble. Purchased the All-in-One sample exams, the NCEES sample exam, and went through the notes...

Review for Civil Water Resources and Environmental

If you're going the self-studying option (and this is for October test takers as this thread has gone cold), I would suggest sticking to 6-minute solutions, the ncees practice test, and all-in-one sample exams. I bought the Lindbergh Practice Exam and the Water Resources Depth Practice Exam...

Just got my results back after my second attempt...

Do you have enough of a civil background to take the Civil FE? I know a lot of environmentals go on to do the Civil PE because it's more versatile and easier to get through.

    Hail Mary Pass

I got to my hotel early Thursday night and had some dinner, sat down at the desk and thought I would work problems the rest of the evening. My brain just said nahhhh we aren't doing that and then it rewarded me by letting me go to sleep before 11.

Feel good about how you did on the exam?

I felt good about the Water Resources exam, which I was stressing over beforehand since I studied it in college but spent 3.5 years in the transportation world after graduation.
