Electrical Pass Rate

Interesting to note that the pass rate for repeat test takers in electrical rose 6% (from 29% to 35%) between the April 2010 exam and the October 2010 exam, even thought the pass rate for first-time test takers stayed the same at 66%. Actually, if you look at the list below, the pass rate of repeat test takers has improved over the last three exams. I wonder what is contributing to that? Better availability of test materials and prep courses? This board? Guesses?

Is this electrical overall or just power? I would expect the power test to have risen as review materials hone in on what's on the new format.

It's Electrical overall. NCEES doesn't release pass rates per depth.

I hadn't thought about that, but it makes sense. Having PE after your name does improve your chances of getting a hired or getting a better position.
