I am starting this post to see if anyone out there has recently taken the WA Structural III exam. The pass rate is really low (20%), and there isn't a lot of information out there about the exam.

Does anyone know:

1. Good references specifically for the exam.

2. Are all four building materials covered?

3. Any good strategies for the format..

Thank you.. I am going to give it a shot this fall, and want to be prepared. The exam information given by the state is pretty vague.

Brian,

There is a large discussion of this in the PE Exam Prep Forum in the PE Exam - Disciplines (Structural) section.

If you can't find what you are looking for ask in that forum and I will glad to help. I just took the exam in October and passed it.

Where did you find the 20% pass rate for this test?

Regards
