In the role of Service Delivery Contract Engineer based in Glasgow, you will be responsible for successful delivery of the day to day execution of Service Contracts & Agreements on behalf of a portfolio of customers. This will principally focus on the provision of:
- Planning for scheduled outages;
- Planning for capital parts rotation;
- Technical support to field service team & customer;
- Timely execution of commercial terms provided in the Contracts & Agreements and working to ensure actual outcomes meet plan.
As Service Delivery Contract Engineer you will also:
• Respond to unplanned emergency customer requests;
• Work with the Contract Manager to secure new opportunities & methods to ensure both parties benefit from the Service Contract and Agreement;
• Act as the principal point of contact for customers' operational personnel;
• Work safely and in accordance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental rules and recommendations, and be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment;
• Plan for outages and service events which includes but is not limited to spare parts available,capital, hardware and consumables.
Who we're looking for
To be successful at interview for the Service Delivery Contract Engineer role, you will ideally be able to display a proven track record of experience and success in:
•Working with heavy framed GE gas turbines would be beneficial;
•Working with industrial gas turbines is essential;
•Commissioning / servicing of rotating parts / controls & instrumentation;
•Outages and / or technical projects working with technicians / field service engineers;
•A technical customer facing role.
