These are the core books for surveying, pretty much a must have. These provide the foundation for taking the survey exam.

The sample exams give you a insight in what to expect, work these and you are well on your way to passing, I am offering the sample exam with the surveying principals together. The principals is a good reference during the test, very good section on public lands, also curvers and traveres, good start but lacks the depth needed to pass the exam.
