I recently passed the Civil PE exam in Missouri. However, I received a letter in the mail from the state board stating that I would not be licensed as a professional engineer until I submit my verified experience forms. Since I filed my application in November 2010, which was shy of the required four years of experience (for me I started working in January 2007, so my four years was January 2011), the Missouri board required me to file a verification form from the time I submitted my original application to the present. I just wanted to make everyone aware just in case you are in the same situation as myself.

That is quite nice of them to allow you to take the test first.

I was denied by the California board from taking the exam three weeks out because they would not count all my experience. This is after devoting every waking second for five months studying, thousands spent, etc.
