? Regarding the Order/Timing of Released Results

Sorry if this has been covered 100 times already but is there any rhyme or reason to how NCEES releases the results from year to year? For example it looks like some are already finding their FE results. Is it typical that they release FE first then PE? If so how much later than the FE are the PE results released? Is it usually a couple hours, couple days, a week, etc?

It would have been nice if PE results came out before FE seeing how the PE was the day before the FE.

Yes, there is a rhyme and reason. The NCEES owns stock in the sewage industry (which explains why they're full of crap). Delaying the release of test results leads to a nationwide increase in urination since examinees are giddy with anticipation. The stock price of the sewage industry goes up, and well, there you go... :bananalama:

Yeah but think about how many different PE exams there are compared to the relatively few FE exams.

NCEES has a pattern to release results and here it is: There is no pattern. They will release whatever they want whenever they want and that is the bottom line. Nothing else, nothing more.

I wonder if they release results in the order of easiest to grade to most difficult. A part of me feels like there is a room full of graders still arguing about one structures problem.

NCEES has a pattern to release results and here it is: There is no pattern. They will release whatever they want whenever they want and that is the bottom line. Nothing else, nothing more.

They use a 25th order equation to determine when they release the results
