Analysis and design of new projects/facilities
As a Lead Piping Engineer you will be working on some of the most interesting and technically challenging projects in close collaboration with clients and colleagues. You will be working in multidisciplinary teams with technically challenging offshore brownfield and greenfield projects with variating tasks (feasibility, concept and FEED studies as well as detail design). The role is both to act as a Lead Piping Engineer responsible for the technical part of projects, but also to take responsibility as discipline Lead.

As a Lead Piping Engineer we offer you the opportunity to work with tasks such as:

  • Perform complex stress analyses and resolve associated challenges
  • Outline and secure guidance instructions for best practice to piping design and pipe stress analysis
  • Address overall interdisciplinary project challenges and propose feasible solutions
  • Coordinate pipe stress tasks with Lead stress counterparts at our offices in India and in the Middle East
In addition, you will act as discipline lead for projects where you will:

  • Lead, guide and supervise piping and pipe stress project teams assuring high-level quality deliverables to our clients
  • Participate in project meetings and interact with clients to improve client satisfaction
  • Perform contract review to ensure alignment with client requests and governing piping codes
  • Monitor project status on a continuous basis to provide input to financial follow-up and progress reporting
  • Be responsible for resource planning

The Piping, Mechanical & Layout department in Esbjerg is mainly executing offshore brownfield oil & gas projects and studies; however, greenfield offshore oil & gas projects are also part of our portfolio. The department also consists of highly skilled 3D scanning and survey colleagues, and we have a very close cooperation with this discipline as well. Our experts within special systems are among the leading specialists in the world. We are approximately 35 dedicated colleagues working with piping design and mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, turbines, various vessels, etc. Furthermore, we cover all aspects of piping engineering, including cost estimation, concept and feasibility studies, detailed and follow-on engineering, offshore supervision and engineering support as well as construction management services.
