Position Title = Quality Control Manager
Education Required = Relevant degree from an accredited college in engineering preferred
Position Description = Manufacturer of flow measurement products seeks a Quality Control Manager. The position will report to the Director of Quality and Standards and will substantially involve continuous maintenance, successful audit execution, and continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications
1. Extensive prior experience and demonstrated expertise in ISO 9001:2000 quality environment with:
2. Minimum three years experience directly in QA/QC.
3. Heavy experience in manufacturing including heavy machining, welding and fabrication is essential.
4. Precision, dedication, reliability, people skills, all relevant computer literacy including MS Office (excel), Solid works,
AutoCAD, and QA software is required.
Job Description
1. Reporting to Director of Quality and Standards.
2. Primary objective is ISO 9001:2000
a. Interpret ISO 9001:2000 and upcoming ISO 9001:2008 standards;
b. Assist in developing and maintaining ISO programs at Primary Flow Signal, Inc. (PFS.)
i. Developing QA policies, procedures, work instructions;
c. Lead and Train current audit teams;
i. Maintain, prepare and execute the auditing schedule to meet needs of standards to which PFS subscribes;
ii. Serve as primary representative during ISO audits by certifying body;
iii. Assure and lead continuous effort to improve quality and process efficiency enterprise wide.
3. Assist, develop and maintain an in-house NDT Radiography – ISO controlled documentation program
4. Assist, develop and maintain in-process inspection program(s) to ensure compliance with ASME BPV Code work, and PED 97/23/EC work.
5. Assist and maintain ASME certifications;
6. Assist and maintain PED certifications;
7. Assist and maintain any certification programs executive management may decide to obtain.
