Can anyone lend me AASHTO code for my SE1 exam which I failed in April and am planning to give in October? Can anyone suggest any place I can get it cheaper?

You could try ebay. Sorry though, i never bought the code (it was too much for the 1 to 2 problems that usually show up).

I borrowed mine from our public library for free. They had to special order it and it took a few weeks to arrive, but way better than paying for it.

I had access to an AASHTO code (company propertie) and PPI's Structural Engineering Reference Manual (by Allen Williams), and I think all you need is the SERM. Must bridge problem can be resolved using just the SERM because It has alot of duplocate tables, charts and figures from the code. I passed the SE1 in april, took the AASHTO with me but didn't even crack it open. I got all my answers from SERM.

Hope it helps.
