Does it matter for Electrical Engineers to have a PE in Eelctrical and Electronics or in Power? I mean are both equivalent? and can you say that I have a PE in Electrical and Computer Engineering or do you have to specify which speciality?

I don't think you have to make it public what area you took the test in. It isn't on the license or on the document you receive from the state (looks like a diploma).

It may be state dependent but I know electrical engineers from each group of electrical tests (Power; Electronics; and Controls) I even know an electrical engineer that took the test in civil!! I don't think it matters what test you take, if you pass it you are a professional engineer. I would imagine the test would be easier if it is in the field you have experience in.
